What a Difference a Day Makes
Since it started in 1984, CIBC World Markets Miracle Day has raised more than C$190 million for children's charities. The success of Miracle Day is based on the participation and generosity of our clients, employees and Canadian charities.
Each year, on the first Wednesday in December, CIBC World Markets and CIBC Wood Gundy Investment Advisors, sales and trading staff across Canada and around the world, donate their fees and commissions to children's charities.

- The 2007 Miracle Day raised over C$10.1
million globally.
- Whether it is medical attention, shelter
in the midst of crisis or extra help with schoolwork, the Miracle
touches the lives of many young people.
- Miracle Day funds are donated to over 400
children's charities in communities across Canada - from Victoria
to St. John's.
- Miracle Day is one of Canada's largest
one-day corporate fundraising events devoted to children's
charities.
- All CIBC World Markets and CIBC Wood
Gundy offices across Canada are part of the Children's Miracle.
Also participating are offices in Asia, Europe and the United
States.
